Discover your creativity—your way
Neurodiverse Creativity Coaching offers individualized virtual and in-person creativity coaching for people of all ages, backgrounds, and experience levels. Rather than fitting you into a single artistic discipline or predetermined path, sessions begin with your unique interests, ways of thinking, and ways of creating.
Grounded in a neurodiverse approach to creativity, together we explore across the performing and creative arts to discover what genuinely resonates with you. Whether you're an experienced artist, creatively curious, or reconnecting with a part of yourself that's been waiting to emerge, coaching provides a supportive space to explore, create, and develop a creative practice that is authentically your own.

Hi, I'm Sheena
I'm a multidisciplinary performing and creative arts practitioner, educator, researcher, and creativity coach. My work brings together years of experience across music, theatre, dance, voice, composition, devising, research-creation, and higher education to support people in discovering and developing their own creative practices.
I hold a PhD from the Individualized Program in Fine Arts at Concordia University, where my research-creation dissertation exploring a neurodiverse approach to creativity, perception, and artistic practice was awarded the Governor General's Gold Medal. I also hold a Master's degree in Musical Theatre Performance from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Music Composition and Classical Voice from Concordia University, with additional professional training at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy in New York and at Canada's National Ballet School.
As an Assistant Professor, I have taught at both Acadia University and Dalhousie University while continuing an active creative and research practice. Throughout my career, one idea has remained central: creativity flourishes when people are given the freedom to explore rather than conform.
My role isn't to tell you what kind of artist or creative person you should become. It's to accompany you as you discover the unique ways you think, create, and engage with the world.

Every coaching session is collaborative, individualized, and responsive to you.
We begin with a conversation about where you are, what you're curious about, and what you'd like to explore. From there, each session unfolds through creative experimentation, reflection, and practical exploration across the performing and creative arts. Depending on your interests, we might draw from voice and singing, movement and dance, acting, theatre, musical theatre, songwriting, composition, writing, improvisation, devising, research-creation, or other creative practices.
There is no expectation that you arrive with experience—or even knowing what you want to create. Sessions are designed to help you discover your own creative process, develop confidence in your ideas, and explore new possibilities without pressure or judgment.
This transdisciplinary approach can be especially meaningful for neurodiverse individuals whose creativity may not fit within traditional educational or artistic pathways. At the same time, coaching is open to anyone seeking a more flexible, expansive, and deeply personal approach to creativity.
Whether you're exploring creativity for the first time, returning after years away, developing a specific project, or simply curious about where your imagination might lead, sessions provide a supportive space to discover what creativity can become for you.
